Boy, talking about writing skills in writing, is well, pretty tough. It's difficult to clearly demonstrate the breadth and depth of our work over the years. So, we'll start by saying that we've written nearly every form and style imaginable: sales collateral, annual reports, commercials, annual meeting presentations, employee communications, teasers, newsletters, campaigns, web sites (duh!), direct mail, advertisements, speeches, marketing and communication plans, billboards, radio spots, cable programs the list could go on for darn near ever. But why bore you with accomplishments? Suffice it to say that the written word is still an art form here and we're very talented artists. Things we've enjoyed working on in the written realm: Communicreations.com - Yeah, we know. You're already here. But we've been humbled by those who have come across this site and contacted us to let us know they read every word of it. In this hectic mayhem we call the Net where the average attention span is 30 seconds, that's a big compliment. Illuminet Overview - Illuminet is a large telecommunications company few people hear about because they are the connectivity behind the dial tone. One of the company's challenges has been to explain the company and its products and services to the average joe. This project was fun because we had to boil a large, complex company into digestible parts that nearly anyone could get. We've put some excerpts of a larger piece here for all to see. Corporate Convention Script - The competitive client for the client was a tumultuous one. New cutthroat competitors were showing up on the scene, the market itself was stagnating and the company's customers were caught in a malaise of mediocrity. The goal was to show the need for creativity in the marketplace and how the customers themselves were the sculptors of their own success. Not an easy task, comparing grocers to artists, but we did. Spirit! - If you think newsletters are dullsville, try one at a bank. Our mission was to jazz up a northwest bank's dreary corporate tome. So we redesigned it, colored it up, and made the copy jump out at the reader. The result was an award-winning (in three categories) corporate newsletter. Providence Community Report - For decades, the Everett community had enjoyed two world-class medical centers. A merger between Everett General and Providence combined two spirited competitors and divided a community. The task at hand was to reach out to the community at large and explain the need for the merger and how it would actually improve service with two campuses of the same hospital. See Dick. An Aging Boomer Presentation - The Boom Generation is an unprecedented swell of humanity coursing its way through the economy and we were given the task of showing the effect this demographic would have on various markets. So why not parody and parallel the infamous Dick and Jane primers that were also being parodied in print at the time. See other samples of our writing in our Clients section (the linked clients are site's we've written and designed) and Print Design (pieces we've designed and written copy for). _______________________________________________________________ |
