OPENING SEQUENCE:
Open on black. There are subtle sounds of the forest. Wind rustling, babbling brook, birds chirping.
Entering the forest, the visuals accompany the sounds. A quiet, semi-regular tapping sound can be heard. Somewhat distant, becoming progressively louder as the visuals pan into an open field.
A person is standing in the middle. The visuals zoom into the object of his attention. Close ups of stone chips, a chisel, hammer in hand. The source of the tapping is clear now. It is an artist sculpting a work of art.
NARRATION:
The creative mind in action. An organic computer processing millions of pieces of information.
Millions of pieces that continuously combine with past experiences and learned information to create new data.
For the artist, creativity is not an entirely spontaneous action.
Rather, it is the result of a careful balance struck between what the experienced mind says is possible and what the creative mind thinks may be possible.
To accomplish this task, the experienced and creative minds must follow a carefully devised plan that guides the artist's mind and body through every action.
Without this discipline, creativity is chaotic and disappointing.
But the creative mind is not the exclusive possession of the artist, sculptor or writer.
Take, for example, the creative mind of the retailer.
It takes a vast amount of creativity to shape and mold success. To meet the challenges facing you in the years to come...
CLOSING NARRATION:
Creativity, tempered with experience and intuition, is a valuable asset when carving a niche in today's marketplace.
For it allows the perceptive person to formulate plans, determine options and take actions that will achieve success.
Success that is conceived and born for those who have the courage to say, "It begins with me."
