We have completed two very different renditions of your home page, which will serve as the design template for the rest of the site. Following are creative and production notes related to each site. Comp 3 We revised version 1 to have more visual impact. We revised some of the graphics to draw the eye around a little bit more and add depth to the design. We also changed the image to something far more representational. In the placeholder version, we used some people adding buckets to a larger bucket - i.e., teamwork. We have others in this artistic style that are far more interesting than the grip and grin office photos... What do you think? Comp 1 This version uses the same basic color palette as the current site. A large version of the sweeping 'B' in your triangle logo has been pulled out and used as a background image, creating some nice sweeps that support and mirror the logo. The navigation goes down the left side - for the review purposes we used Services to show how the navigation button would look when a cursor moves over it. As you can see, we used the sweep again as an accent. A bold red rule defines the top of the site, then curves down the right side. The copy is the same as that used on the old site. Of course, it will be receiving a bit of digital liposuction as we complete the redesign. For now, we want you to concentrate on the design itself. We've opted to use photos this time around... we have some very nice royalty-free images to work with. In the built out version your logo and address information will appear along the bottom of the site, similar to Comp 2. Comp 2 This is our favorite. It uses multiple tints of the blue in your logo which creates a very contemporary look with layers of tints built upon one another to provide depth and space in the design. It has a very friendly and sophisticated feel to it. The navigation is on the left again, and we've provided you with the rollover look on Advantages. For comparison purposes, everything else on the site is the same – the photo, the copy, etc. Well, enough chit-chat. ____________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________ |
