With more than 12 years of experience in corporate communications, Robb
is a veteran of internal communication practices and tactics. During his
career he has communicated change to small- and medium-sized employee audiences
in high tech, finance, retail, wholesale and health care.
An award-winning communication professional, he has worked closely with
management to shape policy, address the changing face of a global economy,
explain the paradigm shift taking place in the employee workforce and help
companies come to terms with the dynamics of today's employees. As a communication
professional, Robb continues to expand his skills to all areas of his field,
including creative services, media events, copywriting, editing, program
design, speech development, events management, publication production, consulting,
crisis communication and most recently, the Internet and World Wide Web.
In addition to serving as a voice in his industry on the importance of candid
and timely internal communications, Robb continues to volunteer his time
to the community through various avenues, including visiting the elderly,
homeless and emotionally and developmentally challenged. His sense of humor,
ability to relate seemingly unconnected topics into compelling and effective
prose, and his deep commitment to his fellow human beings brings a sensitive,
identifiable slant to his work.
Robb is a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in Communications.
He is a member of the Internet Developer's Association, Port Orchard Chamber
of Commerce and the Kitsap Peninsula Visitors and Convention Bureau.
He and his wife Sharon reside in Port Orchard.
